Exiting the Recruitment Industry

Hi All,

The recruitment industry can be a very rewarding experience for many however career progress can for some require a change of industry or total career direction.

I am interested in hearing from ex Recruiters as to how easy it was for them to exit the recruitment industry. I am trying to understand how you managed to go about it, what blocks you may have encountered etc etc

Career progress can take many shapes and forms and for me it was to start agency side working for a large UK Agency within major accounts, I then went on to start my own agency. Following that I took the RPO route and worked on-site. After that I moved to in-house working within the HR department.

As I work with recruiters wishing to exit the recruitment industry your wisdom, experiences and perspective are very useful.
